Nearly one billion people in the world do not have access to electricity. 80% of them live in villages far from any infrastructures. Supplying power to hundreds of thousands of villages requires the rapid commissioning of a mini photovoltaic power plant per village to meet the massification requirements of installations. Containwatt® takes just one day to assemble, with no need for any special equipment, without creating technical on-site premises nor a fenced in protection area. In addition, the “shelter” function, offers the possibility of focusing the deployment of Containwatt® on an economic development concept through rental of an electrified work space for local micro-entrepreneurs and businesses.  Containwatt® can be set up in the middle of the village and can become  a living center.
